3. Booking Procedures and Payment Terms

Reservations can be made through our website booking system, by telephone at +971 58 591 9031, via email at info@elegantyachtrental.com, through WhatsApp messaging, or in person at our office. A booking is confirmed only upon receipt of the required deposit payment and written confirmation from the Company. For standard charters, a deposit of 30% to 50% of the total booking value is required at the time of confirmation, with the balance due prior to departure on the charter date. For event bookings and large group charters, a 50% deposit is required at confirmation, with the remaining balance due 14 days prior to the event. Payment can be made via credit card, debit card, bank transfer, or cash (in AED, USD, EUR, or RUB as indicated in our pricing). All prices are quoted in UAE Dirhams (AED) unless otherwise specified, and currency conversion is provided as an estimate only.

4. Pricing, Fees, and Additional Services

All prices published on our website and communicated in quotes represent the base yacht or boat rental fee for the specified duration and vessel. Additional services including but not limited to professional photography and videography, private singers, saxophone players, dancers, magicians, bartenders, hosts, professional massage therapists, live seafood and private chef services, premium alcoholic beverages, yacht decorations, rose and flower arrangements, and catering services are charged separately as indicated in our service catalog or quoted separately.

The Company reserves the right to modify prices at any time prior to booking confirmation. Once a booking is confirmed at a quoted price, that price is locked unless changes are requested by the client or circumstances beyond the Company’s control necessitate adjustment. Prices are subject to seasonal variation, and special discounts during Ramadan, Eid, New Year, and other promotional periods are offered at the Company’s discretion. All prices exclude applicable VAT, which will be added at the current rate as required by UAE law.

5. Guest Responsibilities and Code of Conduct

All guests are expected to conduct themselves in a manner that ensures the safety, comfort, and enjoyment of all passengers, crew members, and other water users. The following conduct requirements apply to all charters:

Guests must follow all instructions given by the Captain and crew members at all times. The Captain has absolute authority over the vessel and all persons onboard, and their decisions regarding route, duration, safety, and operations are final. Guests must not engage in behavior that endangers themselves, other guests, crew members, or the vessel. This includes but is not limited to reckless behavior, intoxication affecting safety awareness, physical altercations, or deliberate damage to vessel equipment or facilities.

The consumption of alcohol is permitted in accordance with UAE laws, which prohibit the service and consumption of alcohol to Muslims and prohibit public intoxication. Guests consuming alcohol must do so responsibly, and the Captain reserves the right to terminate the charter without refund if alcohol-related misconduct occurs. Smoking is prohibited inside all vessels but is permitted in designated outdoor areas only. The use of open flames onboard is prohibited except for special circumstances such as birthday cake candles, which must be approved in advance.

6. Health, Safety, and Liability

Safety is our highest priority. All vessels are equipped with appropriate safety equipment including life jackets for all passengers, fire extinguishers, first aid kits, and emergency communication devices. The Captain and crew members are trained in safety procedures and emergency protocols. Prior to departure, guests will receive a safety briefing covering emergency procedures, location of safety equipment, and important operational information.

Children under the age of 10 must wear life jackets when on deck or near water, and must be supervised by an adult at all times. The Company does not provide childcare services and accepts no liability for injuries to children who are not properly supervised. Guests with medical conditions that may affect their safety or the safety of others should disclose this information at the time of booking. The Company reserves the right to refuse boarding to any guest who appears intoxicated, medically incapacitated, or whose behavior poses a safety risk.

The Company accepts no liability for loss of or damage to personal belongings brought onboard. Guests are advised to secure valuables and refrain from bringing expensive items on charter. The Company shall not be liable for any personal injury, death, or property loss arising from the charter, except to the extent such liability cannot be excluded or limited under applicable UAE law. Guests are responsible for any damage caused to the vessel or equipment through negligence or willful misconduct, and will be charged for repair or replacement costs.

7. Photography, Video, and Media

The Company may take photographs and video footage during charters for promotional purposes. By boarding the vessel, guests consent to the use of their image in Company marketing materials, website content, social media, and other promotional channels unless they specifically inform the Company otherwise in writing prior to departure. Guests who commission professional photography or videography services through the Company retain ownership and usage rights to the images and footage created, subject to any third-party provider terms as applicable.

Guests are permitted to bring their own food and beverages onboard subject to UAE customs and import regulations. Custom itineraries may be arranged in advance subject to Captain approval and applicable permits. The Captain reserves the right to modify routes due to weather conditions, traffic, safety concerns, or operational requirements without liability.

11. Prohibited Items and Activities

The following items and activities are strictly prohibited on all charters: illegal substances and controlled substances, weapons of any kind, fireworks (except professional pyrotechnics arranged through the Company with proper permits), pets or animals (with the exception of certified service animals with advance notification), and activities that may damage the vessel or endanger safety.

12. Insurance and Maritime Regulations

All vessels are insured as required by UAE maritime law and operated by appropriately licensed Captains holding valid UAE maritime credentials. The Company’s liability insurance covers passenger injury and vessel damage within the scope of UAE maritime law. Guests are encouraged to arrange personal travel insurance and travel cancellation insurance independently, as the Company’s policies may not cover all circumstances.

13. Complaints and Dispute Resolution

Any complaints regarding service quality, equipment condition, crew conduct, or other matters must be raised with the Company in writing within 48 hours of the charter completion to info@elegantyachtrental.com. The Company will investigate complaints and respond within 7 business days. Disputes arising from these Terms and Conditions or the provision of services will be resolved through good-faith negotiation, and if necessary, through the courts of Dubai, UAE, which shall have exclusive jurisdiction over such matters.

14. Modification of Terms

The Company reserves the right to modify these Terms and Conditions at any time. Updated terms will be posted on our website and will apply to all new bookings from the date of posting. For existing bookings, the terms in effect at the time of booking confirmation will apply unless the modification is required by law or regulatory authority.
